Terms of Service​​ of RocKnow

Welcome to RocKnow!

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the RocKnow mobile application and associated services ("Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the services.

1. Intellectual Property All content within the RocKnow app, including but not limited to text, graphics, UI design, algorithms, and software code, is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the app unless expressly authorized.

2. License to Use You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use RocKnow for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may download and use the app on compatible mobile devices, but you may not redistribute, sublicense, or reverse-engineer any part of the software.

3. Age Restriction & Eligibility Our services are intended for users of all ages. However, if you are under the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, your use must be with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

4. Image and Content Usage Authorization When you upload images, audio, text, or other content to RocKnow (e.g., for stone identification or AI chat), you understand and by default authorize us to process and use such content for service-related purposes. This includes but is not limited to image recognition, AI analysis, report generation, and potential model improvement (where applicable). And you also by default grant us permission to display your uploaded images within the RocKnow app or in anonymized form for promotional purposes, unless you choose to opt out.
   Your content may be processed either locally or through third-party services (such as the Gemini, OpenAI API) via automated analysis. We do not use your uploaded content for advertising, redistribution, or resale.

   Please do not upload content that includes:

   1. Faces or personally identifiable information
   2. Pornographic, violent, hateful, unlawful, or infringing material
   3. Images or data involving children or other sensitive subjects
      We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms and to suspend or terminate accounts that engage in such violations.

5. A​I Content Disclaimer Some RocKnow features rely on third-party services (e.g., OpenAI) to generate insights and suggestions. Please note:

   1. AI-generated results may be incomplete or inaccurate
   2. Responses are for reference only and not a substitute for professional advice
   3. Human review of AI content is not guaranteed
      You are solely responsible for how you use the information generated through these features.

6. Certificates and Valuation Disclaimer

RocKnow provides features such as stone identification, authenticity verification, valuation estimates, and digital certificates for informational purposes only. While certain insights are powered by automated tools and AI technologies, final certification results are determined and issued by the RocKnow team based on internal criteria and assessment standards.

Please note:

• Identification and valuation results may be approximate, incomplete, or subject to interpretation.
• RocKnow certificates are not issued by licensed gemologists or official geological institutions, and are ​not legally binding​.
• AI-powered content (such as chat responses or stone suggestions) is not reviewed by human experts and may contain inaccuracies.
• The app’s outputs should not be relied upon for investment decisions, legal disputes, or any use requiring certified expertise.

By using RocKnow, you agree to use all features at your own discretion and acknowledge that results are provided “as is,” without guarantees or warranties. RocKnow shall not be held liable for losses, damages, or decisions made based on any information or certificates generated in the app.

7. User Conduct You agree not to:

   1. Upload illegal or harmful content
   2. Interfere with or disrupt the app’s normal functioning
   3. Reverse-engineer, modify, or attempt unauthorized access to the system
   4. Use the Services for any commercial, automated, or exploitative purposes

8. Privacy and Data Our use of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect minimal data necessary to operate the app, and you may request deletion of your data at any time.

9. Service Changes and Termination We may update or terminate parts of the app or its features at any time. We are not liable for temporary unavailability or loss of content. Users violating these Terms may have their access revoked.

10. Limitation of Liability RocKnow is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of results. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for damages, losses, or decisions made based on information provided in the app.

11. Governing Law & Disputes These Terms are governed by applicable laws in your jurisdiction. Disputes shall be resolved through amicable negotiation; if unresolved, they will be submitted to arbitration in accordance with local regulations.

12. Changes to Terms We may update these Terms periodically. Your continued use of RocKnow constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review this page regularly.
